Physical

Emotional/Behavioral

These are the most common signs and symptoms:

  • “Too perfect” behavior
  • Withdrawal and depression
  • Unexplained anger and rebellion
  • Abrupt changes in behavior
  • Sexual behavior and language that isn’t age-appropriate
  • Sexually aggressive, forceful, or coercive behavior towards other children

No Signs

For some children, there are no signs or symptoms whatsoever.
